Police authorities in the city of Cibolo, Texas report that three people were killed and another was rushed to the hospital after an auto accident involving a pickup truck and charter bus. The crash occurred in the 8000 block of Interstate 10. According to the official report, the pickup was travelling east on Interstate 10 at 4:25 a.m. when it suddenly crossed the median line, crashing head on into a commercial passenger bus heading west.
The driver and two passengers in the truck were thrown out of the vehicle and died at the scene of the accident. The bus driver was rushed to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition as of press time. No passengers were inside the bus at the time of the accident. Otherwise, the crash could have been much worse. Police are still investigating why the pickup veered into the median.
