A road accident in Amarillo Texas took the life of a motorcyclist. The accident happened on Thursday along the intersection of Coulter and Elmhurst streets. According to Amarillo investigators, an SUV was turning west into Elmhurst when it crashed into the motorcyclist, who was riding south. Police are still determining who exactly was at fault for the collision.
They identified the motorcyclist as David Wilkerson, 55-years old, who was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to serious injuries. Police have yet to file any charges as they continue to investigate the case. They did, however, point out that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
