Three people were killed earlier today after two 18-wheeler trucks crashed head on into each other on the section of I-30 near Rockwall County, Texas. Initial investigations found that the accident happened on Wednesday morning (June 29) at around 5:00 a.m. Interstate 30, near the Fate and Royse City neighborhoods.
An 18-wheeler moving west on the highway crossed the median strip, counterflowing against oncoming traffic where it would eventually crash head-on into another heavy rig. Reports say a third vehicle was also damaged in the accident. Local police authorities and first responders count three fatalities resulting from the accident. Their identities have yet to be verified.
