SAN ANTONIO, TX – Last Thursday two people were critically injured in head-on car accident near UTSA at around 9:00 am just west of I-10 on UTSA Blvd. The accident occurred when a silver Honda Civic, traveling at high speeds on wet roads, lost control and drifted into oncoming traffic, striking a car driven by a 21-year-old woman.
The 21 year old woman was taken to University in Critical condition, and it was reported that she was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident. The driver of the Honda Civic was also critically injured, and was transported to University Hospital as well. Law enforcement do not believe that alcohol was to blame for the accident, but rather the negligence of the driver of the Honda Civic, which was traveling at high speeds on slippery wet roads.
