A road collision on the section of Interstate 45 near Huntsville led to the death of a UPS truck driver. The accident, which happened near FM 1696 a few miles north of Huntsville, Texas, happened when a UPS semi-truck crashed into the rear-end of an 18-wheeler truck transporting multiple vehicles.
The impact of the crash killed the driver of the UPS truck. Authorities who investigated the accident found that the crash forced a vehicle passing near the accident to collide with a Huntsville Police Department car. During the accident investigation, a vehicle whose driver was passing by the scene hit the back of a Huntsville Police Department car.
The driver was also found to have had a medical emergency before crashing into the police vehicle. Fortunately, no one was hurt in this accident.
